Oil-free Avocado Basil Pesto

It’s undeniable that homemade pesto tastes the best. This oil-free variety includes avocado for extra taste and creaminess, and it works beautifully.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1 bunch Fresh Basil
  • 50 g Walnuts or pine nuts
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 Lemon juice only
  • Water to thin out the pesto
  • Nutritional Yeast to serve
  • Pasta cooked

Instructions

  • Mix everything in a food processor. Add water a little at a time until desired consistency is achieved.
  • Serve with freshly cooked pasta, extra nuts, basil leaves and nutritional yeast.
