Grounded in our core value of being an inclusive community, we have plantd our roots in kindness and compassion, towards ourselves and most importantly, one another. A core value is unconditional, like the trunk of a tree, it cannot be twisted or adjusted amid changing environments. When we are growing in a certain direction, we continue to evolve in that direction; the one that is right for us.
As an inclusive community, we will inevitably come across others who have different beliefs, just as branches grow in different directions. If we try too hard to change the direction of another branch before it is ready, it might snap. Our journeys will be different, shaped by a sequence of unique experiences, and so we should be gentle sharing ideas with each other. In the end, we can all flourish, only at different times and when we are ready.
We are not reserved in sharing our kindness and compassion with the world because, if we were, it would mean that we were not truly embodying it. We respond to others with integrity, acceptance, and kindness. With this approach in mind, we hope you will join us. As well as our beloved community, we are firmly grounded in three other values: Health, Wellness, and Sustainability.
When it comes to health and nutrition, we encourage you to make your own educated and empowered choices. This means not simply following the crowd, or a trend, but doing what feels right for you. We can all contribute to making a difference by embracing more plants on our plate. As a community, we will always celebrate small steps in the right direction, whether that includes strict adherence to a plant-based diet or not. Something is better than nothing.
Similar to a tree that needs soil, sun, water, and oxygen to flourish, we simply cannot separate good health from other areas of wellness. We encourage you to consider all things related to wellbeing from sleep, movement, and self-care practices, to mental, spiritual and emotional health. This can include simple acts of self-care, like drinking plenty of water, through to those more dedicated, like daily meditation. With time, you will determine which of these resonate with your mind and body.
Finally, and sadly, we are in a position where we have no choice but to pay attention to being more sustainable. A tree would die without soil, just as we would without a healthy ecosystem. It is our mission to make a difference because without change, the consequences are otherwise too great. Together, we need to ensure that our children and grandchildren inherit their rightful opportunity to thrive on a healthy, abundant planet.
