Ingredients
Batter
- 1 tbsp Chickpea Flour
- 20 g Protein Powder
- 200 g Soy Milk
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
Baked Apple
- 1 Apple chopped
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Coconut Sugar
- Water a splash
- Salt a pinch
Optional Toppings
- Fresh Fruits
- Nut Butters
- Plant-based Ice Cream
Instructions
Baked Apple
- Start by mixing all your ingredients for the baked apple in an oven safe dish and bake for about 20 minutes on 200 degrees Celsius.
- Then, add your ingredients for the batter into a dish and whisk to combine. If your batter is lumpy you can leave it to rest for a few minutes and it should become smoother.
- Dip your crumpets into the batter one by one and cook in a non stick pan over medium – high heat until golden and crispy on both sides.
- Plate up and top with your cooked apple, ice cream and any other toppings you might wish.
