Chocolate Maca Porridge with Caramelized Bananas

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 2 cups Coconut Water
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Milk
  • 1 tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Maca Powder

Caramelized Bananas

  • Coconut Oil as needed
  • 2 Bananas sliced
  • Coconut Sugar to taste

Instructions

  • Place oats, coconut water and coconut milk into a saucepan and gently heat on low for aprox 5 mins, stir occasionally.
  • Whilst oats are cooking, sprinkle coconut sugar over bananas. Melt a little coconut oil in a frying pan, once melted add sliced bananas, cook each side for aprox 2 mins or until caramalised.
  • Add Cacao and Maca powder to the oats and a little maple syrup if you want to sweeten it some more. 
  • Combine and take off heat. Place in a bowl and top with bananas, nuts and choc squares.
