- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 tsp Paprika Powder
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cayenne
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Ground Turmeric
- a pinch Ground Cloves
- Salt to taste
Garnish
- Toasted Pine Nuts
- Garden Cress
Instructions
- Sauté onion in a little bit of water until translucent, then add the remaining ingredients and fry on medium high heat until mushrooms are cooked and some bits start to get crispy (stir frequently and add more water as needed to avoid burning the mushroom mince).
- Pile hummus in the center of a shallow bowl, starting from the center, push the hummus with a table spoon towards the edge of the bowl while you slowly spin the bowl with your other hand. This will create the perfect hummus pit! Add the mushroom mince and top with garnish, serve with bread or as a side dish!
