Caramelized Bananas and Nutella Toast

Chocolate and Bananas have always been our favorite combo. Caramelizing the bananas makes this even more tasty because of that slightly toasty and nutty flavor it adds. The toasted bread is the perfect bed for the bananas and the ‘nutella’. A scrumptious breakfast for sure!

Cook Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 Banana chopped
  • 1 tsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 tsp Maple Syrup

Healthier Nutella

  • 1 tbsp Hazelnut Butter
  • 1 tsp Cacao Powder
  • 2 tsp Maple Syrup

Instructions

  • Fry your banana in 1 tsp of maple and coconut oil in a pan over medium heat, should take 5-7 minutes till they are golden and caramelised.
  • For the “Nutella” add all ingredients together and mix with a spoon. Add a little water to thin it out to desired consistency. 
  • Serve in a bed of toast and enjoy!
