Ingredients
Soy-free Tofu
- 150 g Chickpea Flour
- 750 ml Water
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Garlic
- 1/2 tsp Chili
Teriyaki Sauce
- 2 tbsp Sesame Oil
- 4 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 4 tbsp Water
- 2 tbsp Agave Syrup
- 2 tbsp Rice Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 tsp Chili Flakes
- 1 tsp Cornstarch
- 2 tbsp Sesame Seeds
Instructions
Soy-free Tofu
- Mix all ingredients in a sauce pan. Simmer for 10 minutes over medium heat while stirring constantly. fill into 2 moulds, lined with parchment paper and leave to set for at least two hours or overnight.
Teriyaki Chickpea Tofu
- Cut the chickpea tofu into cubes. Heat the sesame oil in a skillet and add the garlic, ginger, chili and tofu and fry until browned on all sides. Mix other sauce ingredients and pour over the tofu. Allow to thicken for 1-2 minutes and serve with your favourite sauted veggies.
