Ingredients
Filling
- 3 cups Dates
- 1/2 Lemon juiced
- 1 tbsp Vanilla
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
Crust
- 1 tsp Pink Salt or any regular salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 3 cup Gluten-free Rolled Oats
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1 1/3 cup Vegan Butter melted
- 2 1/ 2 cup Gluten-free Oat Flour
- 1/3 cup Coconut Sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F degrees and grease a baking dish. I used a brownie pan.
- Over the stove pot, bring 1 cup of water to boil. Add in all filling ingredients. And boil down until soft.
- Once soft, drain some liquid and blend until smooth in a food processor.
- In a large bowl, combine all filling ingredients until smooth.
- Scoop crumble into the bottom of the pan. Leave about half for the top of the squares!
- Pour in filling, smoothen with a spatula.
- Scoop crumble onto the filling. Make sure all filling is covered.
- Bake for 32 to 38 minutes.
- Let cool over night.
- Cut into squares and enjoy!
